    • After your proposal, start working on 6-8 marker sketches for next class, 9/10:

      • 6-8 quick, thumbnail sketches with annotation (aim for 4-per page, leaving border room for notes and any arrows into content)

      • Two larger, half-page sketches on your top ideas. These larger two should have more detail, painting a more in-depth image of your proposed project.

    • 6 quick thumbnails & 2 larger detailed- ALL IN MARKER, ONLY

  • Finish project_01 before class starts on Monday, 10/1 (see notes below on submission)

    • submit a (second) final 11x17” (tabloid-size) print by hanging it up next to the first. (Do not remove the first print or you will be docked points. If you did not put up a first print in time for crit, print it out that previous version and hang with your final.

      • print, crop and pin up any final statement (replacing the first). This should include your full name, title (put untitled if no title) class section and semester.

    • submit your final PSD file (with layers), with your first and last name to the project_01 Google Drive folder

    • submit a flat PDF to the project_01 Google Drive folder

      • while in Photoshop, save a second version with adding “FLAT” to your files name. (This is so that you do not accidentally save over all of your work.)

      • second, flatten your image so that we do not save layers into the PDF (this makes a smaller file). After Flattening, you may save the PSD.

      • Third, “Save As” a PDF with your first and last name. In the second dialogue box, you will want to select “press quality” from the top drop down option and then uncheck “preserve Photoshop editing capabilities (This will further compress the file size, making this method ideal for sharing image previews with others).

    • Have some interactions completed

    • Have some of the exported audio that you have worked on placed into your code so we can get a sense of how things will pair up with user events.

    • create a new folder with your first and last name on it. Drag and drop your Audacity File AND its supporting audacity project folder. You will also drag and drop your Processing home sketch folder into this new folder with your name on it. After doing so, this self-named folder should be "compressed" into a zip file- this zip is what you should then be uploaded to the crit folder on the class Google Drive.

  • We will be using the lab iMac's only to have less clutter. This will also allow for guests to look on easier.

  •  Final Projects Due by 2:45pm before class today.

    • At the start of class we will promptly begin downloading everyones files

    • As a class we will review everyones projects as follows:

      • 2 minutes to present your code's structure to the fully attentive audience

  • followed by 2 minutes of review
